Annual Poster Contest
A poster contest is held each year for area school children. Children draw an 81/2 x 11 poster at their school and then the teacher submits them to Heritage Days. Finalist are then narrowed down by a team of judges and the top ones in each age catagory are voted on by people attending Heritage Days.
The top 30 posters submitted by children ages 5-13 are on display in the Information Booth, and ballots to vote on your favorites can be cast there. The final nine winners receive $50 U.S. Savings Bonds.
